The Heavens are Telling the Glory of God and the Earth Proclaims His Handiwork.
“Before Thy Cross we bow down in worship, O Master, and Thy holy Resurrection we glorify."
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen. And Thy holy Resurrection we glorify. Before Thy Cross we bow down in worship, O Master, and Thy holy Resurrection we glorify.
“Rejoice, O life-bearing Cross, invincible triumph of true worship; O gate of Paradise, constancy of believers, and wall of the Church, through which corruption hath vanished and been abolished, and the power of death hath been swallowed, and we have ascended from earth to Heaven. Thou art the unconquerable weapon, the adversary of Satan, since thou art the Glory of the Martyrs and Righteous ones, their adornment in truth, the haven of salvation, which granteth the world the Great Mercy. ” Elevation of the Cross-Vespers; Divine Prayers and Services translated by Fr Seraphim Nasser, Memory Eternal.
All Orthodox Christians in the area are invited to a belated 4th of July Picnic followed by Vespers served by Fr Russell of Holy Trinity Church in Butte this Saturday at a Ranch by the Monastery. Contact Holy Trinity Church in Butte or St Anthony the Great in Bozeman for details.
